Berwick Introduce Their First CAP Student

Berwick Introduce Their First CAP Student

Welcome Wallace Carron.

In conjunction with his school, Berwick have sponsored Wallace through the final two years of his studies, including valuable work experience.

There is an increasing awareness globally that secondary school studies alone are not adequately preparing students for the modern workplace. The Career Advantage Program is aimed at equipping children and young people with the necessary skills to bring positive benefits to businesses from day one. The Career Advantage Program provides a link to the business world by offering students work placement opportunities, providing them with irreplaceable work life experiences where they can put to use the skills they are learning.

Tristan Brassey of Berwick Care said, “We are pleased to be part of this exciting development, producing work-ready school leavers.”

When interviewed Wallace identified the way that he’s been given work experience in all the various departments of the business as very helpful.
