ALLEVYN Adhesive - A Comprehensive Solution for Wound Management
Chronic and acute exuding wounds require specialized dressing to ensure proper healing. ALLEVYN Adhesive, with its unique triple layer formation, is a perfect solution to achieve high absorbency, conformability, secure self-adhesion, waterproof and bacteria-proof performance in the same dressing.

This economically-efficient dressing is composed of a highly absorbent hydrocellular foam pad held between an adhesive perforated wound contact layer and a highly permeable outer top film. The wound contact layer has a low allergy-based adhesive, which adheres well to intact skin but does not stick to the wound, thereby reducing the risk of skin irritation.

  • The unique triple action technology helps to maintain an optimal balance in fluid creating a moist wound environment for healing.
  • The low allergy adhesive helps to keep the dressing securely in place without adhering to the wound.
  • The highly breathable top film helps to minimize the risk of maceration to the wound and peri-wound.
  • Provides an effective barrier function to exogenous bacteria as well as helping to prevent fluid and bacterial strikethrough.
  • The hydrocellular foam core is highly absorbent, providing absorption capacity for up to 7 days.
  • Easy to apply and remove.

  • Shallow, granulating wounds
  • Chronic and acute exudative wounds
  • Full and partial thickness wounds such as pressure ulcers, leg ulcers, and diabetic foot ulcers

  • Surgical wounds
  • First and second-degree burns
  • Donor sites
  • Fungating wounds

  • 30 Day Returns Policy

    1. All Returns to be raised within 30 days of receiving your goods, this can be done via phone, email or Webchat, and a picture of the items will be requested to check condition.

    2. A standard £12.50 restocking fee will be applied on all returns.

    3. If you are able to return the items, please do so and quote the Return authorisation number given to you.

    4. Any items to be collected will be chargeable depending upon location and size of items.

    5. All Returned items must be undamaged and in their original condition, if this is not the case when they are received back an additional restocking will be applied.

    6. Special order, Custom & Made to order items are not returnable, unless Damaged or Faulty. If this is the case please contact us with details of the issue.

  • Delivery

    We offer free delivery on all orders over £75 (ex VAT) within our own-van delivery area. Lower value orders are charged at £12.50. Please contact us for a quotation if you require delivery outside this area.
